Cultural events held in Bucharest and Moldavian monasteries

Several cultural and religious events are taking place in Romania. The Sfânta Maria Mică Fair will be held at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant in Bucharest from September 4 to 6. The event features artisans, collectors, and producers showcasing handmade goods such as icons, traditional textiles, jewelry, and wooden objects. Visitors can also find various food products, including traditional Dobrogean cuisine prepared on-site.

Additionally, a pedestrian pilgrimage known as Via Mariae was organized from August 31 to September 3. Coordinated by the Neamț and Suceava County Councils, the trek involved over 40 participants traveling between significant monasteries in the Moldova region, including Văratec, Agapia, and Voroneț. The route connects various monastic settlements and natural landmarks, celebrating faith and local history.
