Cultural events held in Cibakháza and Cluj-Napoca

In Cibakháza, Hungary, a traditional harvest parade took place on October 17. The event featured horse-drawn carriages decorated with garlands, ribbons, and autumn motifs. Participants included both adults and children, with one notable float featuring a tractor-towed trailer equipped with a grape press and tubs. The procession included folk dance performances at the Vásárt tér and Kaja Kómánál locations.

In Cluj-Napoca, Romania, an art exhibition titled ‘Zsobok 31’ opened at the Apáczai Gallery on October 15 to mark Hungarian Painting Day. Organized by the Barabás Miklós Guild, the exhibition showcased works from the Zsobok artist camp. Art historian Hajnal Kis-Pállukács noted that the works reflect how artists' perceptions of the Kalotaszeg region's architectural and folk art heritage evolve over time, treating the location as a living, changing environment rather than a static historical site.
