Cultural events held in Ciutadella and Vilafranca

French photographer Odile Létourmy has opened a solo exhibition titled ‘Tot Quadrat’ at the Xec Coll gallery in Ciutadella, Menorca. The collection features compositions where images are altered, inverted, or mixed to create new, independent meanings. Létourmy utilizes various techniques, ranging from traditional pinhole photography to mobile phone cameras, emphasizing an instinctive morning workflow.

In Vilafranca, a new sculpture has been inaugurated in the plaza named after singer-songwriter Tomeu Penya. The bust, created by sculptor Damià Ramisante, was unveiled during the Fira del Meló festivities. The project was sponsored by businessman Tòfol Rosselló, a longtime friend of Penya, who expressed gratitude for the local recognition during the ceremony attended by Mayor Montserrat Rosselló.
