Cultural events held in Požega and Ogulin

In Požega, the Matica hrvatska branch presented the collection ‘Vilim Just: Izabrana djela’ to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the composer's birth. The event, held at the Požega City Library, featured musical performances by the Croatian Cultural and Artistic Society ‘Vijenac’ and highlighted Just's legacy as a geodesist and co-founder of the society.

In Ogulin, educator Ljiljana Ivković promoted her new picture book, ‘Zapisi iz Jasenka’, at the Ogulin City Library. The book is a tribute to her father and her native region of Jasenek. The promotion included readings and musical performances attended by local students and educators.
