Cultural events held in Sant Joan and Motril

In Sant Joan de Labritja, artist Anthony Gofer inaugurated his painting exhibition ‘Mirades’ at the Casa Parroquial. The exhibition, which features over a dozen new acrylic works alongside pieces from his recent catalog, explores the cultural roots, traditions, and identity of Ibiza. Organized by the Grup Cultural Sant Joan de Labritja with municipal support, the show will remain open until November 8.

In Motril, guitarist Carlos de Jacoba and singer Israel Fernández performed a flamenco show at the Fábrica del Pilar. Organized by the Art’ Jacoba sociocultural association, the event integrated music with painting. During the performance, De Jacoba advocated for better support and facilitation for high-quality cultural initiatives within the city of Motril.
