Cultural events held in Vietnam to mark historical milestones

Various cultural and artistic activities are taking place in Vietnam to commemorate significant historical milestones.

The TKV Mass Art Festival concluded its five-day competition on October 24. Part of a series of events celebrating the 90th anniversary of the traditional day of coal miners and the coal industry (1936–2026), the festival featured diverse performances including traditional music, dance, and instrumental ensembles. The performances aimed to honor the heritage and spirit of the mining workforce and promote the cultural values of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group.

Additionally, the “Ngu Hinh 3” fine arts exhibition is being held at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam from October 24 to November 4. As part of the activities leading up to the 950th anniversary of the establishment of Quoc Tu Giam (1076–2026), the exhibition showcases 30 works by six artists from the “Ngu Hinh” group. The exhibition seeks to create a dialogue between thousand-year-old heritage and contemporary creative thinking, utilizing diverse materials to depict Vietnamese cultural nuances and folk traditions.
