Cultural events highlight music and performing arts in Lower Saxony

Cultural events are taking place across Lower Saxony, featuring diverse musical and performing arts programs. In Bad Nenndorf, the 7th AkkorDayOn organized by the German Harmonica Association of Lower Saxony brought together accordion orchestras from across the region. The event, held at the Landesgartenschau, featured performances by the Lower Saxony State Accordion Orchestra ACCOLLAGE and the Accordion Club Winsen (Aller).

In Wernigerode, the Konzerthaus Liebfrauen is presenting a wide-ranging schedule through the end of 2026. The program includes classical, jazz, pop, cabaret, and theater. Upcoming highlights include performances by the Wernigerode Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, the Johann Strauss Gala, and entertainers such as Götz Alsmann and Willy Astor. The venue, operated by Wernigerode Tourismus GmbH, continues to serve as a regional cultural hub.
