Cultural events highlight musical talent in Italy
In the province of Reggio Emilia, Alberto Bertoli, son of the late Pierangelo Bertoli, visited photographer Moris Dallini to honor his work at the Centro Studi Storici Castellaranesi. Dallini’s exhibition, which features decades of photography of various artists, serves as a prelude to the upcoming Pierangelo Bertoli Award. The award ceremony is scheduled for the weekend of July 7 and 8 at the Carani Theatre in Sassuolo, with Saturday sessions already reported as sold out.
In Messina, thirteen-year-old pianist Francesco Marra performed a diverse program at the Palacultura for the V. Bellini association. The concert included works by Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Mendelssohn, and Prokofiev. Marra received critical acclaim for his execution of Mozart’s Sonata in A minor K 310 and Beethoven’s Sonata op. 10 n. 1, noted for his precision and maturity.
