Cultural events in Germany scheduled for early 2027
Germany is preparing for several major spoken-word and comedy events scheduled for early 2027.
In Hamburg, the Elbphilharmonie will host a large-scale cultural program organized by Kampf der Künste. The event features two consecutive Saturdays of performances: the Poetry Slam Day on January 2, 2027, which includes the presentation of the German Poetry Slam Awards, and a new Stand Up Day on January 9, 2027. The lineup includes various performers such as Nico Semsrott, Ines Anioli, and Bodo Wartke.
In Schweinfurt, the local poetry slam championship will celebrate its tenth anniversary with the “Highlander” season gala on February 27, 2027. Held at the evangelical parish hall, the event will feature current season winners and reigning city champion Richard König. Early-bird tickets for the gala are currently available.
