Cultural events in Italy feature Milena Milani and Augusto Rubei

In Savona, the Pinacoteca Civica will host the fifth public meeting of the “Cartoline da Milena Milani” series on September 25. Curated by Monica Brondi and promoted by the Fondazione MMCC, the event focuses on the visual poetry of Milena Milani. The presentation will feature graphic and ceramic works, many of which are previously unpublished, alongside video and audio recordings of the artist.

Separately, author Augusto Rubei is set to release his debut book, “La strada,” published by Piemme. The book, which explores themes of social struggle and personal redemption in the San Basilio district of Rome, will be presented on September 29 at the Galleria Alberto Sordi in Rome. The launch will feature a dialogue between Rubei and Fiorenza Sarzanini, co-director of Corriere della Sera.
