Cultural events in Italy feature mountain documentary and art seminars

Cultural events in Italy include the screening of the documentary ‘Per silenzio e vento’ in Dronero and the continuation of the ‘Seminari sull’Arte della Manutenzione’ in Sardinia.

Directed by Marco Zuin and written by Matteo Righetto, the documentary explores the relationship between humans and the mountains. Featuring voices such as Reinhold Messner and Erri De Luca, the film examines the Dolomites as fragile ecosystems facing climate change and mass tourism. The screening is scheduled for October 24 at the Iris Cineteatro.

In Sardinia, the art seminars hosted by L'Unione Sarda feature art historian Franco Masala and lawyer Viviana Costa Marras. The session, titled ‘Foto di famiglia e di una città in un interno’, focuses on the history of Palazzo Costa Marras and the architectural work of Ubaldo Badas, exploring themes of habitation and memory.
