Cultural events in Lucca and Narni feature film premieres and documentaries

The Lucca Film Festival continues with the Italian premiere of ‘Les héros du Louvre’ (2026). Director Elie Chouraqui presented the film at Cinema Centrale, discussing its themes regarding a Louvre night guard tasked with transporting treasures during the German invasion of World War II. The film is inspired by the real-life experiences of the director's grandfather.

In Narni, a screening of the documentary ‘Luther Blissett - Informati, credi, crepa’ by Dario Tepedino is scheduled for October 3 at the Rocca Albornoz. The event is part of the ‘Novanta. 30 anni di underground’ exhibition. The documentary explores the collective pseudonym used by artists and activists in the 1990s to critique media through hoaxes, books, and various forms of media art.
