Poland hosts diverse cultural and literary community events

Various cultural and educational initiatives are taking place across Poland, ranging from literary webinars to community workshops.

The Polish Chamber of Books (Polska Izba Książki) is hosting the ‘Literary Express’ webinar series in September. These free online sessions, held via Zoom, will feature publishers from the Independent Publishers Section discussing adult literature, as well as the Children's and Youth Publishers Section presenting new titles and educational methods for working with children.

In Ostrołęka, the Municipal Public Library is organizing language cafes to facilitate social integration. An Ukrainian language cafe is scheduled for August 19, focusing on cultural exchange and shared experiences, followed by an English language cafe on August 22.

Additionally, the Art Laboratory Association is hosting its final ‘Breakfast on the Grass’ event of the year. The program includes cyanotype photography workshops led by Mariusz Owczarek, crochet workshops with Mirela Mickiewicz, and eco-workshops organized by the VERDE Nature Heritage Foundation regarding traditional apple varieties and juice pressing.
