Cultural events: La Negra María Teatro in Chile and María José in Mexico

The Teatro Municipal de Ovalle (TMO) in Chile will host the theater company La Negra María Teatro on August 14, 2026. The production, titled ‘Cartas de Niños’, is a family-oriented play that explores historical memory through the perspective of children. The story follows characters Pablo, Ana, and Miguel as they navigate the disappearance of a father figure through letters and imagination.

In Mexico, singer María José is set to perform her 30th show at the Auditorio Nacional on December 10 and 11 as part of her ‘Ahora o Nunca’ tour. The concerts will feature music from her upcoming album, ‘Alma de Mujer’. The artist noted that the venue represents a significant career milestone and expressed gratitude to her fanbase for her continued success.
