Cultural events return to Palermo and Alba

Several cultural events are scheduled in Italy, highlighting literature and music. The Premio Mariposa, an initiative by journalist Salvo Pistoia, will return on October 13 at the Auditorium of the Conservatorio Alessandro Scarlatti in Palermo. The event celebrates the intersection of music, literature, and poetry, marking the approach to the 30th anniversary of the Mariposa Cultural Association. Notable guest Giorgio Verdelli, a prominent director and documentarian of Italian music, will be in attendance.

In Alba, the fourth edition of the “Piera Costa” competition will hold its awards ceremony on September 13 at the Sala Beppe Fenoglio. The event will feature the presentation of a publication collecting selected amateur stories and poems. Promoted by the Cooperativa Libraria La Torre, the collection aims to share diverse individual experiences through prose and verse.
