Cultural events and street festivals scheduled in Bucharest and Moldova

Various cultural and community events are scheduled across Romania and Moldova for the upcoming weekend.

In Bucharest, the ‘Străzi Deschise’ (Open Streets) program features sports, music, and history exhibitions. Key activities include a ‘Mobile Museum’ in Piața Revoluției, sports at Palatul CEC, and guided tours of Calea Victoriei. Due to these events and the ‘Crosul Arenelor’ race, the Societatea de Transport București (STB) has announced significant changes to tram, trolleybus, and bus routes, including modifications to several lines and shortened service for the Bucharest City Tour.

In Moldova, the ACT Festival at Castel Mimi focuses on the intersection of art, culture, and technology, featuring video mapping and creative workshops. Other regional highlights include classical music performances, opera in Piatra, and various theatrical productions in Chișinău and Bălți. Additionally, a national exhibition regarding agriculture and ecology is ongoing at Arena Chișinău.
