Anna Netrebko to perform sold-out Aida at Arena di Verona

Soprano Anna Netrebko is set to perform a sold-out production of ‘Aida’ at the Arena di Verona on August 30, 2026. The performance features direction and sets by Franco Zeffirelli.

Netrebko has also announced her return to the Arena for the 104th Festival in 2027, where she will appear in three different productions over eight days. Her scheduled appearances for August 2027 include:

• August 7: ‘Aida’ in the historic 1913 production by Gianfranco de Bosio. • August 12: ‘Aida’ in Stefano Poda’s ‘crystal’ production. • August 15: ‘Nabucco,’ where she will perform the role of Abigaille in a production also directed by Stefano Poda.
