Cultural events scheduled for Avezzano and Aielli in Italy

Several cultural events are scheduled in the Abruzzo region of Italy. On September 4, pianist Maria Gabriella Castiglione will perform a solo recital at the Castello Orsini di Avezzano. The program features a range of classical composers, including Chopin and Rachmaninov, alongside modern artists such as Piazzolla, Einaudi, and Sakamoto.

Additionally, the town of Aielli will host the 26th Aielli SwingFest on September 5 and 6. Organized by Swingin’ Sundays ASD, the festival includes live music, workshops in Solo Jazz and Lindy Hop, DJ sets, and street food. The event is set to take place in Piazza Regina Margherita and the historic center, integrating swing culture with the local mural art and landscape.
