Cultural events scheduled for Avignon and Gignac-la-Nerthe

Various cultural activities are scheduled to take place in France. In Gignac-la-Nerthe, the second edition of the National Artistic Festival of Dance and Expression will be held on February 6, 2027, at Espace Pagnol. Organized by the FSGT and several local clubs, the event features diverse disciplines including classical dance, hip-hop, salsa, and circus arts, focusing on creative expression and solidarity rather than competition.

In Avignon, libraries will host a series of events from November 3 to 14, 2026. In partnership with the Villeneuve-lès-Avignon Crime Fiction Festival, the program emphasizes the mystery genre with activities such as an Arsène Lupin-themed escape game, author meetings with Johana Gustawsson, and literary readings. The schedule also includes digital workshops for adults covering internet navigation and text formatting.
