Cultural events scheduled for Catalonia in September

Several cultural and community events are scheduled to take place in Catalonia, Spain, on September 19 and 20.

In Pla d’Urgell, the seventh edition of PlaymoPalau will be held at the Palau d’Anglesola. The fair features over 2,000 square meters dedicated to Playmobil figures and dioramas. Highlights include approximately 15 large-scale dioramas, a stop-motion workshop for youth, photography contests, and specialized shops for collectors.

In Platja d’Aro, the Pla de Palol Roman villa will host the 'DO Porcianus' event to conclude its summer tourism program. The event offers rare access to Roman baths and includes a gladiator combat exhibition by the Gesta Gladiatoria association. Additionally, local robotics students will present a virtual reality reproduction of the baths, and visitors can participate in ceramic workshops and wine tastings.
