Cultural events scheduled for Kaiserslautern and Bad Orb

Kaiserslautern is set to host its 18th Gartenschau season from March 28 to November 1, 2026. Managed by Lebenshilfe Westpfalz e. V., the event will feature over 2,000 square meters of flower beds containing 25,000 bulb plants and 42,000 pansies and violets. Highlights include a medieval market, a science and technology area called MI(N)Tmachwelt, a dinosaur-themed pumpkin exhibition, and a LEGO exhibition titled ‘Lauter Steine’.

In Bad Orb, several cultural events are scheduled. The ‘Dialog der Elemente’ art exhibition will take place from March 13 to April 3, 2027, at the Konzerthalle; the application deadline for regional artists is the end of September 2026. Additionally, internationally renowned pianist Haiou Zhang will perform at the Bad Orb Konzerthalle on September 27, 2026. The concert will commemorate the 140th anniversary of Franz Liszt’s death, featuring works by both Liszt and Frédéric Chopin.
