Pirané hosts 61st Provincial Folklore Festival

The town of Pirané is hosting the 61st edition of the Provincial Folklore Festival, a historic event recognized as the provincial capital of folklore and the oldest venue for the Pre Cosquín competition in the country.

The festival features a diverse musical lineup ranging from chamamé to contemporary regional folk expressions. The opening night includes performances by Tunay, Los Bofill, Tania Torres, and Germán Mendoza. The second night features artists such as Lázaro Caballero, Los Aranditas, and Sentimiento Mansero.

In addition to the musical performances, the event includes dance showcases from various academies and companies. The festival also integrates local industry through the Pirané–Palo Santo MACIZO Furniture Fair, an initiative supported by the Ministry of Economy of the province and the Municipality of Pirané to highlight the region's forest-industrial potential.
