Cultural events scheduled for September in Gelnhausen and Papenburg

Several cultural events are scheduled in Germany for September 2026. In Gelnhausen, the musical group GlasBlasSing will perform their program ‘Happy Hour’ at the KulturHerberge on September 17. The performance features ‘bottle music’ using various glass containers to create acoustic sounds.

In Papenburg, the first wine festival at the Hauptkanal will take place from September 18 to 20. Organized by papenburglocals and Böse Events, the festival will feature five wine stands offering selections from various German vineyards, such as Weingut Kästel, Weingut Christian Faust, and Norbert Kallfels. The event will also include five food trucks providing diverse culinary options and live music throughout the three-day period. Admission to the festival is free.
