Cultural events scheduled for Sunday in Jalisco

Various cultural and sporting events are set to take place this Sunday, October 25, in Jalisco.

At the Nuevo Progreso bullring, the second bullfight of the Grand Season will feature rejoneador Emiliano Gamero, matadors Saúl Jiménez Fortes and Isaac Fonseca, and the Forcados Amadores de México. The event highlights the presentation of Jiménez Fortes and showcases livestock from the José María Arturo Huerta ranch.

Additionally, the Expo Ganadera Jalisco will host the “Don Raúl Flores Dávila” Charro Championship starting at noon. Three teams—Rancho El Soyate, Rancho El Quevedeño, and Puente de Camotlán—will compete in traditional charrería skills. The program also includes an equestrian performance by the Escaramuza Infantil Monumental Las Margaritas.
