Cultural events scheduled in Brdárka and Levoča

Various cultural events are scheduled in Slovakia for mid-September 2026. In Brdárka, guitarist Boris Čellár will perform a live improvisation on ‘Ostium’, a musical object and sculpture created by artist Martin Dzurek. The event, held at the Evangelical Church, will also feature a 30-minute film titled ‘Zrkadlenie’ and aims to raise funds for the restoration of a historical pulpit from 1806.

In Levoča, the 12th edition of the STRETNUTIA Slovak poetry festival will take place. The program includes meetings with various international and domestic poets at the Levoča City Gallery. The festival will culminate in a concert by Kubo Ursiny & Provisorium, performing the music of the legendary Dežo Ursiny, at the Levoča Amphitheater or Kino Úsmev.
