Cultural events scheduled in Cerveteri and Chiusaforte

Various cultural events are scheduled across Italy to commemorate history and heritage. In Cerveteri, the Banditaccia Etruscan Necropolis will host a theatrical production titled ‘Giuda – L’oro del tradimento’ on September 20. Directed by Alessandro Sena and written by Aldo Tei, the play explores the figures of Judas, Pilate, and Mary Magdalene. The performance features a cast including Michele Albini, Matteo Maria Mascetta, Danilo Vanella, and Francesca Mele, with a special appearance by Stefano Antonucci.

In Chiusaforte, a choral revue titled ‘Dalle macerie, un canto’ will take place on September 19 at the Church of San Bartolomeo Apostolo. The event commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1976 earthquake, tracing the community's journey from the disaster through reconstruction to rebirth. The program will feature three regional choirs—Coro Voci nell’Aria di Chiusaforte, Grup Corâl Valcjalda di Ravascletto, and Coro Sociale Saf CAI di Udine—accompanied by historical photo and video projections.
