Cultural events scheduled in Coreno Ausonio and Martina Franca

Various cultural and traditional events are scheduled to take place in Italy on August 16.

In Coreno Ausonio, the village will host a traditional event in the Curthi locality starting at 20:00. The celebration features a gastronomic journey through the historic center, which will be transformed into an open-air museum. The event highlights local culinary traditions, including dishes such as traditional beans, pizza alla ramina, fried pizzella, and various street food options like grilled meats and sheep skewers.

In Martina Franca, the “Mercatino di Mezza Estate” will return as part of the “Antiquariato in Valle d’Itria” exhibition. Running from 09:00 to 21:00, the market will expand its exhibition areas to include the streets surrounding the Guglielmo Marconi Institute. The event focuses on antiques, collectibles, and modern art, featuring items such as period furniture, old books, and prints.
