Keating Farm to host inaugural Harvest Table food celebration

Keating Farm and Food Day Canada are launching ‘Harvest Table — A Taste of Vancouver Island’, an inaugural annual event scheduled for September 26 in the Cowichan Valley. The celebration aims to strengthen connections between agriculture, tourism, education, and the local food system.

The event will feature local food and beverages, farm experiences, and a Community Harvest meal. Culinary students from Vancouver Island University and North Island College will participate in preparing a five-course menu alongside professional chefs, including Chef Buddy Wolfe, Chef Jonathan Frazier, and 2026 Canadian Culinary Federation Chef of the Year, Ronald St. Pierre.
