Cultural events scheduled in Mangualde and São Paulo

The festivities of Nossa Senhora do Castelo are set to take place in Mangualde, featuring a blend of religious traditions and musical entertainment. The program includes performances by various folk groups, such as the Grupo de Concertinas de Mangualde and several rancho groups. Religious observances include the traditional Candlelight Procession and an Eucharist presided over by the Bishop of Viseu.

In Brazil, the Banda Sinfônica Jovem do Estado will perform a special concert at Teatro Baccarelli in São Paulo. Conducted by Mônica Giardini, the performance will feature a repertoire ranging from traditional symphonic band music to classical arrangements and popular compositions. The event is part of the educational and social inclusion efforts led by the Baccarelli Institute in Heliópolis.
