Cultural events scheduled in Matera and Brezzo di Bedero

The Orchestra Sinfonica di Matera will present ‘Longitudini trasversali – Migrazioni attraverso il mare di mezzo’ on October 24, 2026, at the Auditorium Raffaele Gervasio. Directed by Fabrizio Festa, the concert-narrative uses texts by Rosalia Stellacci to connect Baroque music by Telemann with six contemporary commissioned works and traditional Algerian and Palestinian pieces.

In Brezzo di Bedero, the piano duo Asteria will perform the candlelit concert ‘Riflessi’ at Casa Paolo on October 24, 2026. The event supports the Accademia Musicale Pietro Bertani’s new MusicLab project, a social and educational initiative offering ensemble workshops for youth and choirs for adults and children. The project is supported by a fundraising campaign through the Fondazione Comunitaria del Varesotto, which matches citizen donations euro-for-euro.
