Cultural events scheduled in Montemiletto and Macerata

Montemiletto is hosting the tenth edition of the historical reenactment “Si Qua Fata Sinant” from September 4 to 6. The event will transform the town into a 1419-era village featuring over 200 performers in period costumes, falconers, fire artists, and theatrical performances. Key highlights include the Grand Procession and Castle Assault on September 5, followed by a reenactment of the castle fire. This year, visitors can participate in the historical procession by booking a spot and wearing period clothing.

In Macerata, the Stramacerata running event will celebrate its 40th anniversary on September 6. Due to local municipal elections, the race date was moved from its traditional spring schedule. The competitive course is 10.2 km and flat, starting from the Anna Frank Elementary School in Villapotenza. The event also includes a non-competitive 10.2 km run and a 4 km recreational walk.
