Cultural events scheduled in Moriago della Battaglia and Fiscaglia

Several cultural events are scheduled in Italy for October 4. In Moriago della Battaglia, the tenth edition of the Festival della Cultura will open at the Casa del Musichiere. The inauguration features writer Elena Rui, a 2026 Strega Prize finalist, discussing her book ‘Vedove di Camus’. The event also includes a painting exhibition by Vico Calabrò titled ‘Tra cielo e terra: il viaggio e il sogno di un maestro contemporaneo’, which will remain open until October 25, accompanied by musical performances from the Coro Libere Armonie.

In Fiscaglia, the cultural meeting ‘Un Ducato in una sera’ will take place at Palazzo Boccaccini in Migliaro. Organized by Alberto Boriani and journalist Laura Corallo, the event explores the history of the Este dynasty and the loss of the duchy. The discussion will focus on historical figures such as Margherita Gonzaga d’Este and Lucrezia d’Este, while highlighting the architectural heritage of Palazzo Boccaccini and its 19th-century artworks by Francesco Migliari and Rosa Giglioli.
