Cultural events scheduled in Novara and Velletri

Various cultural events are scheduled across Italy for early October. In Novara, the Castello di Novara will host ‘Arte contro il dolore’ (Art against pain) on October 3. Organized by the Amici di ISAL No Dolore association, the event features art historian Caterina Brazzi Castracane exploring how physical and psychological suffering influenced the works of Auguste Renoir, Vincent Van Gogh, and Frida Kahlo. The initiative coincides with the international ‘One Hundred Cities Against Pain’ day and aims to raise awareness regarding chronic pain, which affects over 11 million people in Italy.

In Velletri, the ArteMestieri Castelli Romani association is organizing a collective contemporary art exhibition on October 3 and 4. Held during the Festa dell'Uva e del Vino, the showcase features works from 22 local artists alongside contributions from students of the San Giuseppe Art High School. The event integrates visual culture with local traditions, including wine tastings from Casa Vinicola Ciccariello.
