Cultural events scheduled in Palmela and Tavira

The Municipal Library of Palmela will host Tiago Morais on October 30 as part of the ‘Música na Biblioteca’ cycle. Morais, an expert in traditional Portuguese folk music and Artistic Director of the Orquestra de Foles, will participate in a session combining music and conversation moderated by musicologist Joaquim Carmelo Rosa.

In Tavira, the ‘Uma Árvore’ exhibition by Daniel Moreira and Rita Castro Neves concludes on October 24 at the Museu Municipal de Tavira – Palácio da Galeria. The closing event includes a discussion and a book presentation. The project centered on a 600-year-old carob tree in Moncarapacho, exploring themes of memory, ancestry, and climate resilience through immersive installations.
