Cultural events scheduled in Peschiera del Garda and Trieste

Peschiera del Garda will host a series of free cultural activities from November 8 to November 11 in honor of its patron saint, San Martino. The program includes free guided tours of the Habsburg fortifications, covering canals, bridges, and fortress architecture. Additionally, a photographic exhibition titled ‘Peschiera 1866’ will be held at the Palazzina Storica in Catullo Park, showcasing historical views and figures from a crucial period in the territory's history.

In Trieste, the Kaiserfest event concludes on October 31 and November 1, 2026. The ninth edition of this Habsburg-themed festival commemorates the 110th anniversary of the death of Emperor Franz Joseph. The final weekend features guided tours of the Porto Vecchio and the residence of Baron Pasquale Revoltella. A public parade and period-costume dance will take place in Piazza Unità d'Italia on Sunday at noon. While the parade is free to watch, specific guided tours require paid reservations.
