Cultural events scheduled in Poland including operetta gala and new season opening

Several cultural events are scheduled in Poland, including an operetta gala and the opening of a new cultural season.

On August 30, the Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury will host an operetta gala on its outdoor stage. The event features performers such as Małgorzata Walewska, Wiesław Ochman, and Szymon Komasa, alongside the Krakowska Młoda Akademia conducted by Tomasz Chmiel. The gala, directed by Jakub Oczkowski and hosted by Paulina Smaszcz and Jakub Oczkowski, includes a performance by the Bling Dance Show. Admission is free, but invitations must be collected from the Nowohuckie Centrum Kultury box office starting August 17, 2026, with a limit of four per person.

Additionally, the Miejski Ośrodek Kultury will inaugurate its 73rd cultural season on September 11 with a concert by Katarzyna Groniec. The award-winning singer and actress, known for her literary song performances and her 2024 Fryderyk award for the album ‘Konstelacje’, will perform at the center's auditorium located on Łubieńskiego Street.
