Cultural events scheduled in Pordenone and Rapolano Terme

Several literary and cultural events are scheduled in Italy. In Pordenone, the Biblioteca Civica will host an event on October 29 at 6:00 PM featuring author Chiara Polita. Polita will discuss her novel “La Benandante,” which is set in Polcenigo in 1887. The story explores Friulian folklore, focusing on a young girl named Lene who discovers her nature as a “benandante” while navigating local legends and community secrets.

In Rapolano Terme, a new monthly reading circle titled “Fuori copertina” is launching at the municipal library. Promoted by the TVSpenta association, the initiative aims to create a shared space for book lovers. An open day is scheduled for October 27 at 6:30 PM, where participants can help select the first book to be read. The project supports the town's status as a ‘Città che legge’ (City that Reads).
