Cultural events scheduled in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo

Various musical events are scheduled in Brazil for late October 2026. In Rio de Janeiro, the project ‘Samba, Livre, Leve e Solto’ will hold a session at Glorioso Cultural in Catete on Monday, October 26. Led by musical director Paulão 7 Cordas, the event focuses on samba de terreiro and choro, featuring a repertoire that includes works by Pixinguinha, Noel Rosa, and Cartola.

In São Paulo, the venue Varanda Estaiada will host ‘Feijuca do Turma’ on Sunday, October 25. The event features the group Turma do Pagode and combines live pagode music with traditional Brazilian feijoada.
