Cultural events scheduled in Romania and Moldova

Teatrul Muzical Ambasadorii is launching its new season with the musical premiere “Zeii Olimpului – Prometeu și Focul” (Olympian Gods – Prometheus and Fire). Directed by Aurelian Horațiu Bîrcă, the production is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at the Teatrul Național de Operetă și Musical “Ion Dacian”. Designed for children, adolescents, and educators, the original production explores Greek mythology through the story of Prometheus, who defied the gods to bring fire to humanity.

In Moldova, various cultural activities are scheduled for September 12, including performances by Teatrul Planeta Clounella (“Albă ca Zăpada”), the “Ready fest” musical festival at the Botanical Garden, and several puppet theater shows such as “Puișorul de aur” by Teatrul Republican de Păpuși “Licurici”. Other events include a classical music concert in Drochia and a patriotic music festival gala at the Parliament.
