Cultural events scheduled in Rome and Genoa
Rome will host the Giochi di Strada event at Villa Ada from November 13 to 15. Organized by the Associazione Giochi di Strada under the leadership of Dora Cirulli, the free festival aims to revive traditional street games such as tug-of-war, skipping rope, and various folk activities. The event, supported by Roma Capitale, features a village setup near the park lake and includes a blood donation station.
In Genoa, the Staglieno Monumental Cemetery was opened for special visits during the FAI Autumn Days on October 11. The site, described as an open-air museum, allowed public access to previously closed areas including the Pantheon and the tomb of Giuseppe Mazzini. Designed by architect Carlo Barabino and completed by Giovanni Battista Resasco, the cemetery spans approximately 330,000 square meters.
