Cultural events scheduled in Torrelavega and Tenerife

Various cultural presentations are scheduled in Spain. In Torrelavega, anthropologist and social educator Yayo Herrero will present her book, ‘Metamorfosis. Una revolución antropológica’, at the Asociación Cultural Octubre on October 31. Accompanied by journalist Jara Calvo, Herrero will discuss the essay's analysis of extractivist capitalism from an ecosocial perspective and propose social transformations through community participation.

In Tenerife, poet Yeray Barroso will participate in the ‘Café literario: la hora del rapsoda’ event at the Librería del Cabildo on October 29. Titled ‘Esto de vivir la poesía’, the session will explore the experience of poetic creation and the relationship with literature. Barroso, an award-winning poet and researcher of Canarian authors, will share his creative process and literary trajectory.
