Cultural events scheduled in Trieste and Siena

The Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia will inaugurate its 2026-2027 season at the Politeama Rossetti in Trieste with the play “Le ultime lune”. Written by Furio Bordon and directed by Paolo Valerio, the production stars Alessandro Haber, Silvia Siravo, and Francesco Godina. The play, which explores themes of aging and generational relationships, will run from October 14 to October 18 before embarking on a national tour.

In Siena, the “Viva Bastianini!” Festival will conclude with the theatrical performance “L’ultimo canto” at the Teatro dei Rozzi. Directed by Vincenzo Bocciarelli, the play is the first theatrical production dedicated to the life of the renowned baritone Ettore Bastianini. The performance aims to recreate the atmosphere of 1950s radio broadcasts to explore the artist's life and identity.
