Cultural events scheduled in Viterbo and Naples

The Fondazione Vulci has launched Vulci Libri, a new cultural project aimed at promoting reading and fostering dialogue with literary figures. The initiative debuts on November 10, 2026, at the Palazzo dei Priori in Viterbo. The first event features author and journalist Denise Pardo, who will present her novel, “Tornare al Cairo,” published by Neri Pozza. The book explores the history of Cairo between 1940 and 1964, covering the end of the monarchy and the rise of Nasser.

In Naples, author Fortunato Calvino will present his new book, “Il Guardiano di anime. La chiave d’oro,” published by Guida Editori. The event is scheduled for November 9, 2026, at Spazio Guida. The novel continues the story of characters Virgilio and Beatrice, who navigate the boundary between the living and the dead, drawing on Neapolitan folklore and legends of the supernatural.
