Cultural events scheduled in Évora and Sagres

Various cultural events are scheduled across Portugal. In Évora, the Fado Convida project will host a sunset concert at Paço do Morgado de Oliveira on October 5. The performance features Sara Correia and Diogo Clemente as part of Fitapreta’s autumn programming. The event integrates music, wine, and gastronomy, with food prepared by chefs Afonso Dantas and Manuel Maldonado.

In the Algarve, the Cinemalua Cultural Association is presenting ‘Almadrava’, a free outdoor cine-concert at the Fortaleza de Sagres on September 20. The event focuses on tuna fishing in the region, combining 1960s documentaries from the RTP Archive with new footage by director João Marco. The screening will be accompanied by live music performed by the Arsénio Martins Ensemble, featuring original compositions.
