Cultural events strengthen ties between Spain, Argentina, and the Caribbean

A charity gala hosted by the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes took place at the Spanish Embassy in Buenos Aires. The event, themed ‘A journey back and forth between Spain and Argentina,’ aimed to celebrate the cultural ties between the two nations. Notable attendees included former President Mauricio Macri and model Dolores Teuly, who made their first public appearance together as a couple at the gala.

In the Dominican Republic, the Museo Bellapart inaugurated a photography exhibition titled ‘El Prado en el centro: fotografía y memoria en PhotoImagen.’ This collaboration between the Eduardo León Jimenes Foundation, Centro León, and the Museo Nacional del Prado seeks to strengthen aesthetic and historical links between Spain and the Caribbean. The exhibition features works by Dominican photographers such as Polibio Díaz and Fausto Ortiz alongside twelve prominent Spanish artists, drawing inspiration from the collections and history of the Museo del Prado.
