Cultural exhibitions and concerts scheduled for September in Mexico and Chile

Various cultural institutions in Mexico and Chile are hosting events throughout September. In Mexico, the Secretariat of Culture and the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (INBAL) have announced several modern and contemporary art exhibitions that will conclude this month. At the Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes, the exhibition ‘Roberto Montenegro. Muralismo fuera de la norma’ ends on September 6, offering a critical look at the muralist's career. Additionally, the ‘Aztlán, túnel del tiempo’ exhibition, which focuses on Chicano art and artists of Mexican and Latino descent, will conclude on September 27.

In Chile, the Teatro Municipal de Las Condes is hosting a concert series titled ‘Conciertos a la Chilena’ from September 10 to 16 to celebrate national holidays. The lineup includes performances by Santa Feria, Daniel Muñoz y Los Marujos, Javiera Parra, Voces de Oro de Chile, and Los Huasos Quincheros, celebrating various aspects of Chilean popular and folk music.
