Cultural exhibitions held at Batory Cultural Center and Old Castle in Żywiec

Various cultural exhibitions are taking place in Poland. At the Batory Cultural Center, the ‘Emersja’ exhibition features paintings made from human hair.

In Żywiec, a temporary exhibition at the Old Castle showcased the Gothic relief ‘Assumption of the Virgin Mary’. The artwork, which is normally located in a side altar of the Żywiec parish church, was moved to the museum space to allow visitors to observe its intricate carvings and historical details more closely. The exhibition concluded with a meeting for heritage enthusiasts to discuss the history and preservation of local monuments before the relief returned to its original location.
