Cultural exhibitions held in Sarteano and Siena

Several cultural exhibitions are taking place in the Tuscany region of Italy. In Sarteano, the photography exhibition ‘FRAME’ by Alessandro Serra has been extended until September 30, 2026, at the Castello di Sarteano. The extension follows significant public interest, with over 3,000 visitors attending the showcase of Serra’s work, which explores themes of nature, time, and memory.

In Siena, the Palazzo Scotti is hosting ‘The Soul of Ink: Traditional Taiwanese Art’ from August 26 to September 26, 2026. Organized by the Siena Experience Italian Hub in collaboration with Chiachi Wu of the Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning, the exhibition features traditional Taiwanese calligraphy and painting. The event highlights the cultural connection between Taiwan and Siena, particularly as 2026 marks the Year of the Horse in the Chinese calendar, a symbol that resonates with Siena’s local traditions.
