Cultural exhibitions open at Lyon 1 University and Una Volta

Several cultural exhibitions have opened in France. At the Galerie Domus on the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 campus, photographer Tim Douet is presenting ‘Terrain de jeux, à l’épreuve du genre’. The exhibition, which runs from October 5 to November 12, 2026, is the result of a year-long immersion at the UFR STAPS. The work explores gender representations, power dynamics, and social interactions within sports environments, including research labs and training grounds.

In Bastia, the Una Volta cultural center has inaugurated its first exhibition of the season, titled ‘Un’ochjata nant’à 3œil’. Running until November 8, the showcase features illustrations and children's comics from the independent Reims-based publishing house 3œil. The exhibition highlights the Philonimo series by Alice Brière-Haquet, which uses animals to introduce philosophical concepts, and the comic Forbans! by Renaud Farface and Olivier Philipponneau.
