Cultural exhibitions open in Belluno-Feltre and Livorno
The Diocesan Museum in Belluno-Feltre is concluding its exhibition, “Francesco e i suoi amici,” which features works by Franciscan artist Costantino Ruggeri. The exhibition offers an original perspective on Saint Francis by using contemporary figures, such as Sophia Loren and Luigi Tenco, to represent his historical circle. The program concludes on November 6 with a staged reading titled “Piccole storie dal Medioevo su San Francesco,” featuring curator Virtus Zallot and the collective “RaccontArte.”
In Livorno, the Museo della Città has launched an exhibition titled “Pinocchio. Le avventure visive di un burattino,” curated by Nadia Marchioni. Running until January 10, 2027, the display includes approximately 200 works, including paintings, sculptures, and illustrations. The exhibition highlights the connection between Carlo Collodi, the creator of Pinocchio, and the city of Livorno, coinciding with the bicentennial of the author's birth.
